WHAT IS STRETCH?
Your bridge commute CONQUERED.
STRETCH is a transit service that connects passengers in the Quad Cities on both sides of the Mississippi River. This service provides an alternative for commuters crossing the river and will help lower congestion on Quad Cities area river crossings during I-74 bridge construction, while ensuring a positive rider experience.
Take transit or park your vehicle at Burlington Coat Factory in Bettendorf, Iowa and board STRETCH to get to Centre Station in Moline, Illinois or District Station in Rock Island, Illinois. Buses will run Monday thru Friday from 5:45 a.m. to 6:35 p.m.
To view the STRETCH route in real time, download the TransLoc app on your mobile device, and select the Davenport Citibus system. Don't forget that MetroLINK and Bettendorf Transit systems are also in TransLoc!

Where will the Stretch pick up and drop off?
Since the Stretch is commuter focused, it will only pick up and drop off passengers at Burlington Coat Factory, Davenport GTC, District Station Rock Island, and Centre Station Moline.
Will the I-74 bridge be shutdown to traffic?
The I-74 bridge will NEVER be shutdown to traffic. Traffic will either be on the old bridge or the new bridge. The Stretch will be running throughout construction.
Where is parking available to ride the Stretch?
Parking is available at the four stops along the Stretch route. At Centre Station Moline, public parking is available on the west side of 12th Street and directly south of River Drive. District Station Rock Island has permit parking spots available and the other stops have adjacent parking available.
